The Berea Municipal Court district includes the cities of
Berea, Brook Park, Middleburg Heights, Olmsted Falls, Olmsted Township and
Strongsville. In addition the portions of the Metro Parks found in these cities
falls within the jurisdiction of the Court.An integral part of the Court is the Ohio State Patrol, which is
responsible for patrolling Interstates 71 & 480 and the Ohio Turnpike
within the Courts jurisdiction.
The Berea Municipal Court handles all types of traffic and
criminal misdemeanors and certain felony hearings in the Traffic/Criminal
Department.Civil, Small Claims,
Forcible Entry and Detainer (Evictions), Rent Escrow and Trusteeships are
handled within the Civil Department.

Weddings
The Judge of the Berea Municipal Court performs civil
wedding ceremonies at the Berea Municipal Court on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays
at 3:00 P.M.Weddings must be scheduled in
advance by calling the Clerk of Courts Office at 440-826-5819.
Prior to the wedding, you must pick up your marriage
license from the Cuyahoga County Probate Court located in downtown
Cleveland.Your marriage license and
the $50.00 marriage fee must be received by the Berea Municipal Court no later
than 3 days prior to your scheduled wedding.
