These elected or appointed officials play crucial roles in the processing of cases and the disposition of justice.
 

The Judge and Clerk of Court personnel have changed due to the recent elections. Sean Kilbane, 35, of Strongsville, a nine-year assistant Cuyahoga County prosecutor who served as litigation supervisor in the prosecutor’s juvenile criminal/delinquency unit, where 16 other prosecutors reported to him has been elected as the presiding Judge at Berea Municipal Court. Joseph DeMio a longtime Strongsville City Council member and has served as a Cuyahoga County bailiff since 1987 was elected for the Clerk of Court position at Berea Municipal Court.
