The Court receives payments for both traffic and criminal summons and complaints, court and warrant costs. Information regarding payment options are printed on the back of the tickets issued.
Traffic and Criminal citations may be paid if the issuing officer has not marked on the front of the citation that your appearance is necessary in court on the citation. Citations that may be paid without a court appearance are commonly referred to as waiverable offenses.
By paying the waiver instead of appearing in court, you give up all the legal rights to which you are entitled. Payment is a plea of guilty to the offense(s) charged. Points may be assessed against your driving record by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. If you do not wish to plead guilty, your appearance in Court will be necessary.
EFECTIVE MONDAY AUGUST 10, 2015 any credit card payment will incur a $5.00 fee. |
Your fines & costs have been calculated for you. If you disagree with the amount owed or for any reason would like to discontinue the payment process, you may use the BACK button, click on any link (home, waiver schedule, etc) or click on the ‘x’ box.
