Probation
It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to read, to understand, and to comply with the rules of probation, as follows:
- Obey all federal, state, and local laws. Report any new arrests, citations, or other contact with law enforcement to your probation officer within 24 hours.
- Keep all scheduled appointments with your probation officer.
- Conduct yourself in an orderly and respectful manner upon reporting to the Probation department.
- Refrain from reporting to the Probation department under the influence of alcohol and/or any mood altering substance.
- Comply/complete all programs/treatment ordered by your probation officer.
- Pay any/all fines, costs, and restitution to the Court according to any orders and payment schedules made with the Court.
- Inform your probation officer within 24 hours of any changes in residence, phone number, or employment.
- Obtain permission from your probation officer prior to leaving the State of Ohio.
- Prohibited from possessing and/or purchasing a firearm or other weapon while on probation.
- Subject to search in accordance with ORC section 2951.02. The search includes, but is not limited to, the search of your person, place of residence, motor vehicle, electronic devices, bags, purses, or other packages.
- Prohibited from illegally obtaining and/or using controlled substances. All prescription medications must be reported and approved by your probation officer.
- Prohibited from refusing any drug and/or alcohol test ordered by your probation officer and/or any law enforcement agency.
